Location: Quilter’s Corner – 1245 Sycamore Square, Midlothian, VA
Job Type: Part-Time (24-32 hours per week) with potential for Full-Time

Job Summary:

The Sales Floor Team Member will be responsible for engaging customers, assisting with fabric selection, and ensuring the store is well-organized and inviting. The ideal candidate has a passion for sewing and quilting, enjoys working with people, and is eager to share their knowledge with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in selecting fabrics, notions, patterns, and quilting supplies.

• Provide guidance on sewing machines, quilting techniques, and project planning.

• Process sales transactions, returns, and special orders in the point-of-sale system.

• Restock and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing sales floor.

• Assist with in-store displays and promotions.

• Support class setup and cleanup as needed.

• Answer customer inquiries in-store and over the phone.

• Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.

• Work as part of a team to ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.

Qualifications:

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.

• Passion for sewing, quilting, or crafting is a plus.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise (up to 40 lbs).

• Comfortable learning and using a point-of-sale system.

• A friendly, helpful attitude with a willingness to learn.

• Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings.
