Job Description : Location: Quilter’s Corner – 1245 Sycamore Square, Midlothian, VA Job Type: Part-Time (24-32 hours per week) with potential for Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Sales Floor Team Member will be responsible for engaging customers, assisting with fabric selection, and ensuring the store is well-organized and inviting. The ideal candidate has a passion for sewing and quilting, enjoys working with people, and is eager to share their knowledge with customers.
Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in selecting fabrics, notions, patterns, and quilting supplies.

Provide guidance on sewing machines, quilting techniques, and project planning.

Process sales transactions, returns, and special orders in the point-of-sale system.

Restock and organize merchandise to maintain an appealing sales floor.

Assist with in-store displays and promotions.

Support class setup and cleanup as needed.

Answer customer inquiries in-store and over the phone.

Maintain a clean and welcoming store environment.

Work as part of a team to ensure a positive shopping experience for every customer.
Qualifications:

Retail or customer service experience preferred.

Passion for sewing, quilting, or crafting is a plus.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise (up to 40 lbs).

Comfortable learning and using a point-of-sale system.

A friendly, helpful attitude with a willingness to learn.

Availability to work weekends and occasional evenings.
