Trail Tote

Make either the small or large crossbody Trail Tote by Noodlehead, a casual and easy-to-wear tote to feature your favorite fabrics. There’s an exterior zipper pocket to hold keys and a phone. The tote also features a piped edging and adjustable strap.

Supplies: Bring the following to class or purchase at Quilter’s Corner with your class discount of 10%
•“Trail Tote” pattern by Noodlehead
•Materials and hardware for per the pattern fabric requirements listed on the pattern.
     Small: 1/3 yard exterior, ½ yd lining, ½ yd accent, 1-1/2 yd SF101 fusible interfacing (If using cotton for the exterior, reduce SF101 to 3/4 yard and add 3/4 yard fusible fleece) , 6” zipper, (2) 1” wide rectangle rings, (1) 1” wide strap slider.
     Large: ½ yd exterior, ¾ yard lining, ½ yd accent, 3 yards SF101 fusible interfacing (f using cotton for the exterior, reduce SF101 to 1-1/2 yard and add 1-1/2 yards fusible fleece), 8” zipper, (2) 1-1/2” wide rectangle rings, (1) 1-1/2” wide strap slider.
•Sewing Machine with 1/4” foot, zipper foot, and a walking foot
•Sewing Machine Needles: Microtex or denim 90/14
•Polyester threads to match fabrics and zipper
•18mm magnetic snap
•1-1/2 yards 1/8” cotton cording
•Rotary ruler
•Rotary cutter
•Cutting mat
•Fabric Scissors and scissors to cut the zipper tape
•Pins
•Seam Ripper
•Frixion Pen or Chalk-o-Liner or other marking tool that will show on your fabrics (please test!)
•Wonder Clips recommended.
•Glue or glue pen.
