Introduction to the Quick Curve Ruler

This is a technique class for you to become familiar with the Quick Curve Ruler! You will learn how to read your Quick Curve Ruler and become proficient at measuring and cutting one of the basic shapes used in many of the Sew Kind of Wonderful patterns. You will leave class with the beginnings of either a modern table runner or a holiday tree table runner. Patterns are free and one of them came with your ruler.
Modern Table Runner
Size: 14" x 35"

Materials:
1 QCR Mini Ruler
2 fat quarters for focus fabric
1/2 yard background fabric
1/2 yard backing
1/4 yard binding
Mini Tree Runner
Size: 20" x 45"

1 yd light focus fabric
1 yd dark focus fabric
1 yd backing

· Sewing machine in good working order with size 80/12 needle· ¼” presser foot with or without the guide
· Quick Curve Mini (QCMR) Ruler from Sew Kind of Wonderful
. Your choice of the two patterns listed above.
· 6” x 12” ruler or larger
· Thread – 50 wt. 100% cotton
· Pins or fabric clips
· Seam Ripper
· Stiletto
· Rotary cutter with new blade
· Cutting mat
· Fabrics for the pattern which you have chosen
Optional:
· Personal Iron and Ironing mat
