Bring Your Own Paper Piecing Pattern - Foundation Piecing Workshop

Love paper piecing and want to take your skills to the next level? Try our new Bring Your Own class, where you decide which pattern you want to work on! The class size will be small so the instructor can offer assistance to each student. We'll take small pauses to share tips and tricks, and problem solve tricky areas. (Note: The focus of this workshop is Foundation paper piecing - not using freezer paper, the fold back technique, nor is it appropriate for Judy Niemeyer or Jacqueline deJonge.)

Supplies: Bring the following to class or purchase at Quilter’s Corner with your class discount of 10%

·         Foundation Paper Piecing Pattern of your choice (My Kinda Town is the quilt pattern shown)

·         Fabric per the pattern instructions

·         Sewing machine in good working order with presser foot that has good center visibility (like the “N” foot on the Brother machines).

·         50 wt cotton thread

·         Scissors - both paper and fabric

·         Rotary cutter

·         Add-a-Quarter ruler

·         Cutting mat

·         Seam ripper

·         Pins

Optional:

·         Finger presser or seam roller

·         Small iron

·         Ironing surface

·         Fabric glue stick
