Garments - Linen Pants

Join Jessica in this one day class to make this cute, simple pair of slacks, perfect for summer! We'll be using the "Free Range Slacks" pattern, but if you already have another, simple, slacks pattern you'd like to use, that may be an option.


  • Fabric must be prewashed.
  • Both pattern and fabric pieces must be cut out.
If you have any questions about using sizing, fit, or wish to use a pattern other than "Free Range", either come to a Tuesday PhD session or call (804-794-1990) and make an appointment with Jessica prior to the class.

Supply List:

Sewing machine in good working order with a new Microtex needle.
Sewn House Seven "Free Range Slacks" pattern (or similar).
Linen or cotton/linen fabric (Robert Kaufman Essex linen works well)
Thread to match.
Fabric Scissors, pinking shears if you have them.
Pins, seam ripper, measuring tape, rotary cutter.
Hem guide if you are adding optional back pockets.
Optional: serger to finish raw edges - you must know how to use it!
