Hands-on practice of 2 easy applique techniques for fabric prep, and stitch-down using 4 different stitch options: zigzag, blanket, satin, and blind hem stitches.
· Book: First-Time Machine Applique by Janet Pittman
· Sewing machine in good working order with Instruction Manual and Accessory Screwdriver
· Open Toe Applique Foot
· 80/12 Microtex machine needles
· Project Fabric: (4) 7” background squares & (5) 5” squares for the hearts
· 50 wt. cotton thread to contrast with your 5” squares
· 1/3 yard Heat n’ Bond Lite
· Fabric Scissors
· Snips or small scissors
· 5” square of lightweight non-woven interfacing or water-soluble stabilizer
· Pen/Pencil/Sharpie for tracing
· Roxanne’s Glue Baste-It
