Mommy & Me - Learn to Sew a Pillowcase!
This is for anyone who knows how to sew, and wants to share that love of sewing with a child. We'll help you teach your young one how to sew a simple pillowcase in this session. Pattern will be provided. 10% discount on supplies purchased for this class at Quilter's Corner.
Supplies:
- Sewing Machine in good working order
- 80/12 Microtex or 75/11 Quilting Needle
- 50 wt cotton thread
- Fabrics: 3/4 yard for pillow case body, 1/4 yard for cuff, 2" strip for accent, each by the width of fabric.
- Pins
- Seam Ripper
- Rotary Cutter & 24" Ruler
- Scissors
- Optional : Wonder Clips (may be easier for a child to use rather than pins)
