Make this fun quilt with 10" squares and the Creative Grids Circle Savvy Ruler! Accurate cutting and larger pieces makes sewing curves easier, and we'll try a few different sewing techniques to see which one suits you best.

Supplies: Bring the following to class or purchase at Quilter’s Corner with your class discount of 10%
• Pattern: “Whirlpool” by Christine Quilts
• Sewing Machine with 1/4” foot
• Sewing Machine Needles: Microtex 80/12 or Quilting 75/11
• 50 wt cotton thread
• Creative Grids Circle Savvy Ruler
• 10” square or larger ruler (typically a 12-1/2" ruler)
• Rotary Cutter
• Cutting mat
• Seam Ripper
• Pins
• Stiletto or Purple Thang
• Fabric: per the pattern for the size you wish to make
Preparation for Class: Cut the fabric into 9½” squares.

Skill Details: | You must be comfortable reading and following pattern instructions. You should be familiar with the basic quilt units (half-square triangles, flying geese, flipped-corners). The focus of the class will be more on techniques, so there is likely to be pre-class cutting instructions. |
