Quilter's Corner Classes

Enjoy an ideal setting for classes, clubs and events in our Quilter’s Clubhouse. Located next door to the shop, we have a large, well-lit, ground level space perfect for learning and sharing. We have a talented group of teachers on staff, as well as guest, national and international teachers on occasion.
Dear Jane Club
3rd Thursday each month • 6:00 p.m.
Are you ready to make an heirloom reproduction of the original quilt by Jane Stickle? Yours could be done in traditional Civil War Fabrics or anything else that tickles your fancy! This is an on-going Club for members to share tips, offer encouragement and admire progress. We will show demos on the Dear Jane software on the big screen.
No sign-ups, just join us in the Clubhouse on the 3rd Thursday each month at 6 p.m!

PE-Design 7.0 Class Notes Series

Expand your creativity with PE-Design 7.0. This five-session class covers the software using Cindy Hogan’s Class Notes Workbook. Trude will teach you the ins & outs of importing designs, sizing, split-stitch functions, lettering, adding text, monogramming, appliqué, cross-stitch, portraits, scanning and digitizing. This is THE comprehensive class to make the most of PE-Design.

Quilter’s Corner is taking a Quilter’s World Tour of the Globe! Let us be your guide as we take you to exciting countries around the world and create an easy, mystery quilt at each stop. Attend as many destinations as you want and collect a special souvenier at each stop. Choose from two color ways for each quilt. Cuisine Challenge - bring a snack inspired by each country. Egg Money Quilt Class

Join Susan to create an Egg Money Quilt inspired by traditional patterns that gained popularity in the 1930's. We will follow along with Eleanor Burns on DVD as we create two blocks a month for six months. Choose your setting from the book or make up your own. These blocks use a variety of techniques and each one will offer something for even the experienced quilter. Don't wait to sign up, this class will fill fast!

Curves can be fun, and this quilt is easier to make than it looks! The pattern includes acrylic templates to make rotary cutting a snap. You'll get a head start in class in creating a beautiful quilt in the size of your choice.

Introduction to Machine Quilting

Explore the basics of machine quilting in this one day class. You’ll stitch a "sampler" using the walking foot, as well the free-motion foot. Layering, pinning, batting choices, threads and marking tools will also be covered. With a little practice you’ll be ready to complete those unfinished tops!

Come and work on the project of your choice (a great way to finish up those Christmas gifts!) Fee includes coffee and pastries each morning; snacks; and a full, catered dinner on Saturday. Please bring your lunch or enjoy one of the restaurants in Sycamore Square. A refrigerator and microwave are available.

Classes Policies: With paid registration you will receive 10% off all class supplies through the end of class. Class fees required at time of registration. Refunds cheerfully given up to one week before the class. In the unlikely event that the minimum enrollment is not met, you will be notified and the class fee refunded. We do not give a refund, credit or roll you over to another class for cancellations made seven or fewer days prior to the class. Class attendance is limited to paid registrants only. Please do not bring guests or children to class.
