Amazing Experience!

Neva Hart was "in the house" today! Neva is a professional Quilt Appraiser and lives here in VA! What a fabulous resource we have right in our very own state. Anyways, Neva was taking appointments at Quilter's Corner to appraise quilts and I decided to take advantage of the opportunity. I showed her one of my art quilts and asked for her to do a written appraisal for me. It was a unique and informative session. She asked questions about the quilt, materials and my background. I got to ask questions as well. I loved hearing about the process of appraising a quilt! Neva is an accomplished appraiser with a tremendous amount of knowledge! I can't wait to get my written appraisal! Here's a picture of my quilt...
Neva will be back in January if you'd like to have any of your quilts appraised. These can be your work or a historical quilt done by someone else. The PAAQT site has information about the "why and how" of appraisals. The "where and when" is ... Quilter's Corner on Wednesday January 11th from 10am-5pm 804-794-1990 If you're entering the show at Hampton, VA in February, this is a MUST!!
