After the 2nd month of blocks, choose between the queen-sized quilt or 4 smaller quilts! Using Judy Rothermel’s gorgeous fabrics, this club-style BOM will be the envy of all.
Civil War Journals is based on the diaries and journals of the children of the Civil War. Doreen Johnson, an avid quilt historian, will facilitate the program each month.
Marcus has just released the CIVIL WAR JOURNALS collection by Judie Rothermel, along with their third installment of their popular Civil War BOM series. Program highlights include:
- CIVIL WAR JOURNALS begins with fabrics by Judie Rothermel, the industry's first designer of reproduction fabrics. Her look is often imitated, but never quite duplicated, and her following is as strong as ever...
- CIVIL WAR JOURNALS is the first in their series to let quilters choose to create one large quilt or four smaller quilts during the year. Homestead Hearth cleverly designed the program so that either option can be created from the same set of blocks, expanding the customers' creative options.
- The styling of the CIVIL WAR JOURNAL quilts is unmatched in the industry. The careful placement of the prints, detailed piecing and gorgeous quilting together to create a true heirloom.
- True to Marcus' Civil War series, JOURNALS is also based on historical background info, this time with a focus on the journals of the children of the era, and how they were affected by the war. Quilter's Corner will capitalize on this by hosting a club-style program.
- All of these features combine perfectly for the ultimate WOW factor - this is the BOM program that you won't want to miss!
Block of the Month Program Policy:
When you sign up for a Block of the Month (BOM), Quilter's Corner has made a commitment to you to have the blocks and fabrics ready for you as promised and in a timely manner. In addition, we require a commitment from you for the length of the program. Signing up for a BOM is the same as putting a "quilt" on lay-away. You are making a commitment to purchase the entire set of patterns or kits. You have the choice of prepaying for the entire BOM or auto-paying on a monthly basis. There are NO exceptions to this rule, so please don't ask if you can discontinue a program once you've joined in.
